NORTH DAKOTA SCORES 4-2 VICTORY OVER MICHIGAN TECH HOCKEY
No. 3 North Dakota scored three power play goals to claim a 4-2 victory over Michigan Tech in WCHA play Friday (Nov. 6) at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The Fighting Sioux (5-1-1, 3-1-1) out shot the Huskies (2-5-0, 1-4-0) 41-23 in the game.

VOLLEYBALL WINS DOG FIGHT IN BIG RAPIDS
The Michigan Tech volleyball team improved to 7-3 in fifth-set matches after defeating Ferris State in a special Friday (Nov. 6) matinee match at the Ewigleben Sports Arena. With the win, the Huskies (14-12, 10-5) earned a split of the season series with the Bulldogs (18-10, 9-6) and moved one step closer to hosting a home playoff match.

LILBURN, Ga. — The Michigan Tech women's basketball team will be a unanimous national preseason No. 1 when it opens its season Nov. 15. The Huskies, who were already tabbed as the national preseason favorite by Division II Bulletin, garnered the top spot in the USA TODAY/ESPN/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division II Preseason Poll which was released today.
